1. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data only when you send it to us yourself, through the contact form on this website. The form asks for:
- Your name
- The company you work for
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The content of your message, including any detail you choose to include in it
We do not obtain personal data about you from third parties, and we do not build profiles of visitors to this website.
2. What is required and what is optional
Your name and your email address are required. Without them we cannot identify you or send you a reply.
Your company, your phone number and your message are optional. You can leave them blank, although a short description of your equipment or scope of work helps us answer you accurately.
If you do not provide the required data, we will not be able to process your enquiry, prepare a quotation or follow up with you.
3. Why we use it
Your data is used for these purposes only:
- To reply to the enquiry you have sent us
- To prepare and discuss a quotation or a scope of work
- To follow up on that enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence with you
We do not use the data you send through this form for marketing campaigns, and we do not sell, rent or trade it.
4. Who your data may be disclosed to
Access to your data is limited to:
- Authorised employees of Elektro Serve Power Sdn Bhd who need it in order to handle your enquiry
- Technical service providers acting on our instructions: the provider that hosts this website, the service that records incoming enquiries for our team, and the service that delivers the resulting notification emails
- Public authorities, where disclosure is required by Malaysian law or by an order of a court
Some of these service providers operate servers outside Malaysia. Where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data stays protected to the standard described in this notice.
5. Your right to access and correct your data
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
- Ask us to limit or stop processing it, or withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted the form
To make any of these requests, email us at the address below and tell us clearly what you would like us to do. We may first ask you for information confirming your identity, so that your data is never disclosed to the wrong person. We will respond within the period set by the Act.
Withdrawing your consent does not affect anything we lawfully did with your data before the withdrawal, and it may mean we can no longer deal with an enquiry that is still open.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out above. If an enquiry does not lead to a working relationship, the record is deleted once it is clear that it will not be taken further. If it does, we keep the data for the duration of that relationship, and after it ends for as long as Malaysian tax, company and contract law requires us to retain business records.
7. How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted connection, so what you type into the form is encrypted while it travels to us. The form is protected against automated abuse. Access to stored enquiries is restricted to the people who need it. No system connected to the internet can be made completely secure, but we take reasonable practical steps to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

We may update this notice if the way we handle personal data changes. The version published on this page, with the date it was last updated, is always the one that applies.
This notice is published in English and in Bahasa Malaysia. Both versions carry the same meaning.
